Kefir Recipe with Champion Juicer #3
Since my last posting, I have received requests from quite a few readers for some simpler Kefir recipe. I dug deep into my memory bank and I remember one Kefir recipe that all my girls love, before I pampered them recently with the more sophisticated Kefir recipe using Champion Juicer.
Here it is,
Apple Pie Kefir with Champion Juicer

3/4 cup chilled Kefir milk
-
1/4 cup apple sauce

Mix well or blend all the above ingredients.
To make the apple sauce, you may use some green apples or red apples (for sweeter taste). Peel the apples and discard all seeds. Homogenize the apple segments using the Champion Juicer homogenized blank to get a nice textured raw apple sauce. Squeeze some lime juice into the apple sauce to slow down the oxidation process and of course for the extra tang. Those of you who has yet to own a Champion Juicer, you may buy the ready made apple sauce with no sugar added (it may not be raw though).

Kefir Recipes with Champion Juicer #2
After I posted the Kefir Recipes with Champion Juicer #1, a reader wrote to me and told me about her Type 2 Diabetes condition. We were pondering on whether the raw food diet could actually help to reverse diabetes. I believe raw food diet is able to keep the blood sugar in good check without excessive medication but to be completely cured of diabetes and go back to the “eat as-you-like” type of diet, I think it’s not possible.
Juicing with Champion Juicer makes raw food diet easily achievable. Raw vegetable juice often helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, a vital factor in managing diabetes. Raw vegetable juices also have much less sugar than fruit juices and about 50% less calories.
When juicing with Champion Juicer, it is very important to use a wide variety of vegetables, in order to provide your body with all the vital and balanced nutrients. It will also give your body energy and access to the calories it needs to function at its best.
Experiment with carrot or a combination of carrot and parsley juice when a craving for sweet stuff hits you, and the juice jolt will give it a strong punch out before you even notice it.
The addition of Kefir milk into the raw juice therapy using Champion Juicer increases the values of the raw vegetable juice for diabetes control.

Champion Juicer’s Cleansing and Healing Cabbage Juice
If you are on a raw food diet, you will find that juicing forms an important part of your daily food preparation. With a juicer like Champion Juicer, the essence of raw fruits and vegetables is effectively extracted so that what you receive is the best of each raw ingredients.
I am going to highlight an excellent cleansing juice extracted with the Champion Juicer. It is especially effective for some of you who suffer from peptic and duodenal ulcers. Cabbage belongs to the cruciferous family, same as kale, broccoli, watercress and collard greens. Recent studies shows that regular consumption of cruciferous vegetables lowers the risk of colon, lung, breast and prostate cancer significantly. Red cabbage juice extracted by the Champion Juicer has even more nutrients for the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
The raw cabbage juice extracted by the Champion Juicer is full of Vitamin C, K, B6, Calcium, Manganese, Folic Acid, Anti-Oxidant and Phytochemical. It is low in calories but high in Sulphur and Chlorine. The combination of these two compounds causes a cleansing of mucous membrane of the stomach and intestinal tract. This is only effective when it is consumed in its raw juice state. When you cook cabbage, you kill the special myrosinase enzyme that makes the cabbage so healing, thus making cabbage less effective as an anti cancer food.
Drinking Champion Juicer’s cabbage juice straight might be a little too much in the beginning for some of you. Simply mix it with carrot juice. Start with juicing carrots with Champion Juicer, then add some cabbage leafs until you are used to the taste and its cleansing effect.
Caution: Do not add salt to Champion Juicer’s raw cabbage juice. It will not only destroy its cleansing value, but it may be harmful.
Champion Juicer’s Banana Ice Cream Video
I received quite a lot of email enquiries after I posted the Champion Juicer’s Instant Tutti-Frutti Sherbet recipe. A number of you actually requested for a video showing how Champion Juicer makes ice cream or instant fruit sherbet. I stumbled upon this interesting Champion Juicer video demonstration by Rener Gracie on the making of Instant Banana Ice Cream.
It was presented in such a light hearted manner and I truly enjoyed watching it. The entire video takes approximately 9 minutes and that’s the amount of time one would need to make a big serving of Champion Juicer’s Instant Banana Ice Cream, including cleaning up the juicer’s parts and re-assembling. That also includes some time for him to talk, to eat the ice cream and to spin around looking for the missing ice cream. I am amazed how versatile Champion Juicer can be.
Watch it with a smile.
Champion Juicer’s Beet Juice Recipe
I have in my previous post shared about the goodness of carrot juice extracted by the Champion Juicer. Beet juice is complementary to carrot juice. The combination of beet and carrot juice completes what is perhaps the best natural builder of the blood cells in particular the red blood corpuscles. The Champion Juicer delivers a good percentage of phosphorous, sulphur, potassium, beta-carotene and other alkaline elements when extracting beet and carrot juice.
With its toning effect on the blood, women would benefit greatly by drinking at least a glass of beet and carrot juice combo daily. It has been found through my juicing experience that it is best to take less beet juice and more carrot juice in its combination at the beginning until one can tolerate beet’s cleansing effect, then increase the proportion of beet gradually. The strong cleansing effect of beet on the liver may cause nausea and discomfort.
I have a couple of beet juice recipes here for your Champion Juicer.

Champion Juicer’s Therapeutic Papaya Juice
I have mentioned earlier that I include green papaya juices in my juicing program with Champion Juicer on a regular basis. Papaya is strictly a tropical fruit and it possesses a remarkable therapeutic qualities. It is Nature’s first aid gift in both internal and external ailments.
The green papaya juice extracted with Champion Juicer is found to contain an enzyme known as papain which has a similar digestive effect as pepsin in our digestive processes. The juice of the green unripe papaya has much more active papain enzymes than the ripe ones, however it contains less mineral and vitamins as compared to the ripened fruit. That is why I normally choose the half ripe papaya whenever I could.
The green papaya juice extracted with Champion Juicer has a mild, soothing effect on the stomach and it aids protein digestion. The juice is known to help correct intestinal disorders, including ulcerous and more serious conditions in an incredibly short time. It is especially valuable in the coagulation or clotting of blood, either internal or superficial.
To extract the green papaya juice, clean the fruit thoroughly and remove the skin. Discard all seeds and cut the fruit into long strips and push the strips into the Champion Juicer with the normal screen. You may add other juicy fruits such as pineapple or orange for a better yield and a powerful enzyme drink.
The green papaya can be homogenized with the Champion Juicer by switching over to the blank. Clean the green papaya, remove its seeds. Slice the green papaya length wise into long strips with the skin intact. Feed the strips into the feeding chamber of Champion Juicer. Apply the homogenized pulp as a poultice to serious lacerations for a speedy healing of scar.
With the use of Champion Juicer, you could optimize the therapeutic properties of green papaya to the maximum as a remedy to most afflictions of the body.
Three cheers to Champion Juicer !
