Champion Juicer – Tips & Tricks
There are a few interesting tricks when juicing with Champion Juicer.
Juicing soft fruits and vegetables
This juicer is excellent for juicing hard fruits and vegetables. When comes to soft fruits or leafy vegetables, Champion juicer is less efficient. Here’s what you can do.
-
Plan your juicing ingredients to have a mix of soft and hard fruits or vegetables
-
Juice a few pieces of soft ones then followed by the hard ones
-
Repeat till you finish all the ingredient.
-
The hard fruit will help to push the soft ones through easily hence yields maximum juice
Juicing ginger, garlic or onion
Do not juice ginger, garlic or onion at the tail end when juicing with Champion Juicer. Push these ingredients through together with other juicy hard fruits or vegetables for eg. green apples, carrot, celery, beet etc.
Remove all seeds
When you are juicing with Champion Juicer, be sure to remove all seeds in the fruits of your choice. The apple seeds contain cyanogenic glycosides which is poisonous. Raw seeds are also “enzyme inhibitors” which will neutralize some of the enzymes your body produces. In fact, eating foods with enzyme inhibitors may cause a swelling of the pancreas in the long run. So, make sure you remove all raw seeds.
Peeling the skins
If you are not using organic fruits and vegetables when juicing with Champion Juicer, you do need to peel the skins of any fruits. Wash and rinse the leafy vegetables thoroughly before you juice.
Preparing carrots
Make sure you peel the skin of non organic carrots and discard the green top. Be generous to cut at least
an inch from the green top and use the rest of the root. The green top contains certain form of poison when one takes in a large amount.
Making carrot juice with Champion Juicer gives you the best supply of Beta Carotene. Beta Carotene is a powerful antioxidant effective in fighting against some forms of cancer, especially lung cancer. Current research suggests that it may also protect against stroke, and heart disease. Research also shows that the beta carotene in vegetables supplies this protection, not vitamin supplements.

Using Champion Juicer is easy
The Champion Juicer is designed to make life easy. It does not require bolts, nuts, screws nor clamps to put it together. The floating cutter which is used to separate the juice from the pulp in a continuous juicing session, simply slides on or off the shaft. With a quick half a turn, the body either latches on or releases itself for dismantling. Champion Juicer does not require intermittent clearing of pulp or cleaning.
To switch to the other function is as simple as changing a single part of Champion Juicer. All the parts in Champion Juicer are relatively easy to clean as compared to many other juicers.
The juicer comes with a large feeding chamber. That would eliminate the need to cut fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces thus saving some time. Champion Juicer also comes with an easy to follow instruction manual which not only covers a good collection of recipes for juices, but also includes recipes for sorbets, sauces, smoothies and nut butters.

Champion Juicer is versatile
The Champion Juicer is known to be one of the most versatile juicer in the market.
When I purchased my Champion Juicer, I did a spring cleaning to my kitchen cabinet. I had to throw out my other centrifugal juicer, citrus juicer, pasta maker and grinder etc.
The Champion Juicer is so multi-tasking. Apart from extracting juice out of most type of fruits, it also extracts leafy vegetables for eg. spinach, kale, cabbage, lettuce, etc. Hard vegetables like carrots, beetroots, celery, cucumber is a breeze to Champion Juicer.
One limitation though, Champion Juicer is not the most ideal extractor for wheatgrass. If you need to juice wheatgrass, you need to get a special juicer for wheatgrass, for efficiency sake.
Champion Juicer could replace your blender to homogenize food. It produces the most yummy creamy nut
butter, nut pate, apple and fruit sauces, and a wide range of homemade baby food. It can also make wonderful ice creams, sorbets, purees, salsa, muesli and so on.
Homemade pasta sauce is no longer a dream with a simple change of an attachment.
When you put on the optional grain mill attachment, your Champion Juicer turns itself into a grain mill. You can then make your own wheat flour, corn meal, rice meal, bean flour and yes, even grinding your own fresh coffee beans.

There are so many useful functions to Champion Juicer, no wonder it is called a Champion.
Household or Commercial Champion Juicer ?

Currently, I am using a household Champion Juicer. I purchased it in 2000 and have been using it almost everyday. Basically, the household unit is good enough to produce juice for a standard family everyday. The Champion commercial juicer is meant for those who want to juice many times in a day or a big quantity at a single juicing session.
I find that for the price of a household Champion Juicer at $200-$250, to spread across the number of years that it could serve you, it is really negligible. If my Champion Juicer is going to last for 10 years (I think I have been pretty conservative in so saying), I am paying $20-$25 per year, $1.67-$2.08 per month and a mere $0.05-$0.07 per day!

$0.07 a day for Champion Juicer to extract the best nutrients out of fresh fruits and vegetables? That is great exploitation!
Here’s some technical figures that may bore you to sleep but it’s important information you need for comparison between the household and commercial models.

Champion Juicer, my favorite juicer
Over the years of juicing, I tried many different type of juicers. From manual juicers to electric juicers, from centrifugal juicer to masticating juicer, I had tried many of them. They were all not the same. The prices varied a lot so were the quality of juices they produced.
I considered the following factors when I finally chose Champion Juicer over the other type of juicers,
-
Versatile
-
Powerful extraction
-
Ability to juice soft and hard fruits
-
Ability to juice hard and leafy vegetables
-
Durable
-
Heavy duty
-
Low noise produced
-
Easy to clean
-
Moderately priced
-
Reputable maker who supports replacement parts
-
Juice quality, most important of all
Champion Juicer is for those who are really serious about juicing for health. They consume juice on a regular basis. The last thing I want to see is for someone to buy Champion Juicer, make a few batches of juice and leave it on the kitchen top collecting dust.
If you include freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices in your daily diet, I am confident that you will notice a remarkable improvement in your health. My ill health took a turn after I consumed fruit and vegetable juices extracted daily using Champion Juicer.
the reasons for Champion Juicer reviews
I was once a victim of never-ending flow of Antibiotics into my blood stream. I was born into a family who unfortunately believed that medication was the only answer to good health. When I was in my adult years, I had to take two to three courses of antibiotic in a month for a simple throat infection because I developed resistance to the drug. I caught colds & flu at the sneeze of anyone next to me. My body simply lacked the ability to fight the disease.
My situation grew worse when I was pregnant with my first child. I suffered a great ordeal as there were limited groups of Antibiotic which I could take. In frustration, I resolved to find ways to reverse my health.
I discovered that Juicing Therapy could restore my body to optimum health.
Since then, I have been making fruit and vegetable juices daily for many years. My body started to respond positively to the fresh juice I drank and I was given a clean bill of health after a couple of years of juicing.
To start juicing, the most vital consideration is to have a good juicer. Finding a good juicer is not always easy. I have used many juicers over the years, some were cheap and some were expensive. Currently, I am using Champion Juicer and it is working well for me.
I would like to do a review on Champion Juicer here so to benefit those who are keen to reverse their health using Juicing Therapy.
This is the purpose of my blog, Champion Juicer Reviews.
